Sr. Information System Security Engineer

Shall have eight (8) years integrating information assurance disciplines into the system design, development, integration, and implementation.

Must have at least five (5) years of recent experience applying the NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253 and NSA Manual 130-1 security controls within an NSA controlled environment.

Must have at least five (5) years of recent experience applying the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) within an DoD controlled environment.

Must have at least eight (8) years of recent experience Technical writing skills to include experience documenting and developing approach papers for information security related solutions. Must have at least five (5) years of recent experience integrating information assurance disciplines into SIGINT system within an NSA controlled environment.

Must have at least five (5) years of recent experience applying Defense in Depth principles and technology including strong authentication (PKI, two-SSL, etc.), authorization, system patching, malware protection and log analysis/monitoring.

Shall have at least five (5) years of recent experience developing security solutions for integrating and extending FOSS/COTS products.

Shall have at least five (5) years of recent experience hardening and maintaining the security platform for a Microsoft Windows (2008 R2 and above) and UNIX/Linux (RedHat, CentOS) operating environment.

Shall have at least two (2) years of recent experience in the implementation and technical support of multi-platform, multi-system networks, including those composed of CISCO or LINUX-based hardware platforms, to encompass diagnosing security related abnormalities, designing and implementing security improvements.

Shall have at least two(2) years of recent experience provisioning and sustaining network infrastructures and have experience developing, operations, and managing networks required to operate in a secure SSL/TLS, PKI, IPSEC, VPN enabled environment.

Shall have at least two(2) years of recent experience leading, providing technical supervision, and guiding junior-level engineering personnel; solving various technical problems; and generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness in light of objectives, budget, and schedule.
